On December 4, the National Runaway Safeline presented Bridge with the “Shine a Light” Award for excellence in raising awareness about youth homelessness. Program Director Peter Ducharme accepted the award in a small ceremony that was part of the Runaway and Homeless Youth National Grantee Training and Conference, where he also presented a talk on how to do a “data walk.” Peter’s talk was one of the best-attended at the conference, and, along with the winning of the award, was a great way to showcase Bridge’s work on a national scale.
