Community Demographics
Every year, Bridge serves 2,000 homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth.
Situation at Intake
Youth who seek services at Bridge come from a very wide variety of backgrounds and situations. They very often do not outwardly present as being in crisis.
Age
Bridge is entirely focused on the adolescent and young adult community. We understand the unique needs of this highly vulnerable age group and the critical importance of this
stage in their lives.
Gender
All youth face different stigmas and challenges regarding if and how they seek help for themselves.
Racial & Ethnic Identity
Black and brown youth are disproportionately at-risk for and affected by homelessness.
Sexual
Identity
The LGBTQ+ community is disproportionately at-risk and affected by homelessness and crisis.
