Bridge President & CEO Elisabeth Jackson delivered a powerful speech at a TEDxBoston event on January 8, 2024. Elisabeth spoke about how youth experiencing homelessness are often hidden in plain sight and how the system categorizes 18-year-olds as adults and stops providing them services before they are truly ready to be on their own. She made a strong case for how we need to think about transition-aged adults differently and provide them with services that will help them grow into confident, self-sufficient adults.
