Karen Morton, Executive Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer, Global Compliance & Ethics for Liberty Mutual Insurance, has been named Chair of the Board of Directors of Bridge Over Troubled Waters.

As Liberty Mutual’s Global Chief Compliance Officer, Morton and her team have developed a unified, global approach to compliance and ethics, enhanced data utilization to mitigate organizational risk, and created the award-winning Liberty Legal Academy. She has also served as the Co-Executive Sponsor for LEADA@Liberty, the company’s employee resource group that supports employees of African descent and allies.

As the Chair, Morton will work with a board of 13 directors who oversee all facets of Bridge’s development, growth, and affairs.
