Matthew Judon Hosts Bridge Shopping Spree at Snipes in Downtown Boston

New England Patriot Matthew Judon hosted a special shopping event on Tuesday, Dec. 19th at the Snipes Boston location. Youth in the care of Boston nonprofit Bridge Over Troubled Waters shopped for clothing, shoes, and coats to ensure they get critical necessities for the winter months. This special holiday event was designed to celebrate the season with youth and let them know that someone cares about them and that they aren’t forgotten during the holidays. The youth had a wonderful time picking out coats, shoes, and other clothing, and Judon was an amazing host and even jumped behind the cash register to help ring youth up!

MFS Investment Management provided the youth with dinner prior to the shopping event. This wonderful generosity from Judon is in addition to the karaoke party he hosted for youth at SPIN karaoke two weeks ago.

“Once you hit puberty until you’re 18, you’re kind of not babied no more, you’re kind of not coddled, but Bridge Over Troubled Waters, they take care of those kids in that age range,” Judon said. “Around this time, a lot of people do stuff for the youth, and for infants, so just trying to hit that age group and make sure that they know they’re not left out, they’re not forgotten, and nobody’s overlooking them, that people still care about them.”

“Matt and I agree that our youth are important,” said Bridge President and CEO Elisabeth Jackson. “He sees our youth just like I see them – as young people with hopes and dreams. We know that our youth struggle during the holidays, when they are away from their families or on their own. We are so grateful that Matt has taken the time to connect with our youth during the holiday season, reminding them that they are loved and important.”
